Repaint, Custom Carbon Fibre Fabrication and General Maintenance
Launched in 2003, the Ariel Atom II is a lightweight open wheel road legal car that is powered by a supercharged Honda K20 Vtec engine producing 230kw. Thanks to the amazing power to weight ratio, the Ariel Atom accelerated from 0-100kmh in under 3 seconds. Garage KIU stripped this vehicle down to the frame and resprayed both the frame and panels to matching black and yellow KIU colours. After the respray was completed, we custom fabricated a carbon fibre nose panel and replaced a few mechanical components to keep this amazing vehicle running smoothly.
